Mt. Juliet HS MC JROTC Earns Distinction as Naval Honors School

The Mt. Juliet High School (MJHS) Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (MCJROTC) program has once again earned the prestigious distinction of being named a Naval Honors School. This hon

or places the MJHS unit among the top 20% of the 254 MCJROTC programs across the nation.

"We are extremely proud of our cadets' hard work and dedication," said MJHS MCJROTC Program Director Col. Oltman, USMC (Ret). "This award is a testament to the effort they put in every day to maximize the opportunities available to them."

Headquarters Marine Corps awarded the designation based on various performance metrics, including leadership development, academic achievements, and community service involvement. This year marks the 16th time in the program's 29-year history that MJHS has received this honor, and it is the seventh consecutive year that the cadets have achieved this recognition.

The Naval Honors School designation recognizes the exceptional efforts of both students and staff.

"When you see our cadets, please congratulate them on a job well done," Major Intilli of the MJHS MC JROTC program said.
