Mount Juliet High School Is Going Remote

Updated: Dec 2, 2020

Mount Juliet High School will be going virtual beginning Monday, Nov. 30 until Dec. 11. The current expected return to the hybrid schedule will be the week of Dec. 14.

"The reason for this change in learning is due to an increasing number of students and staff affected by COVID-19, and out of the extreme caution for keeping our school community healthy," said the Wilson County Schools in a tweet when announcing the closure.

The district also announced that families that will still be interested in Food Services need to contact Tasha Keller at kellert@wcschools.com by 9:00 a.m. each morning.

Below is the schedule for virtual days. MJHS students have been instructed to log into Chromebooks on Tuesdays and Thursdays for synchronous work and have been reminded to continue doing asynchronous work as well.

The staff of The Golden Bear Gazette wishes you health and safety during this time.

Our home bound Editor in chief also encourages writing down all assignments and due dates to help keep up with everything during this remote learning time.
