Spider-Man is a little further from home than fans would like. Sony decided not to accept a deal with Disney to go 50/50 and have Spider-Man appear in both Marvel and Sony movies. This comes after Far From Home made over a billion dollars in profit.
This also means Sony cannot mention the events of Endgame or anything prior involving the timeline. Keep in mind that Sony plans on rebooting the Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland as the lead role.
Needless to say, both fans and actors are not happy. The hashtag #SaveSpiderman was started on Twitter and has since gone viral.
"Hey @sonypictures we want Spider-Man back to @therealstanlee and @marvel please, thank you #congrats #spidermanrocks #please," said Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye/Ronin) on a Twitter post in an attempt to save the famous webslinger.
Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. even reunited, posting four pictures on Instagram with the caption, “We did it, Mr. Stark!” (@tomholland2013). If you zoom in on RDJ’s sunglasses, you will discover that they used a shoe to take the pictures.
The fans cannot stop saying “I don’t feel so good,” and fans keep crying over the fact that Stan Lee is unable to come to the rescue to save Spidey from the “punk(s)” at Sony. For now, all Spider-Man fans can do is hope, fight and remember that he loves us 3000. Bring him back home! #SaveSpiderman
“Whatever it takes,” (Endgame, Captain America).
