On April 28, MJHS Soccer went up against the Wilson Central Wildcats.
The JV teams had very little action in the first half, and the first ten minutes of the second.
The first goal was scored by Wilson Central with a little over 20 minutes left in the second half. MJ had a late response, scoring their first goal with seven minutes left, and then three minutes after, scored another, putting the score at 2-1, where it stayed for the remainder of the game.
Both Varsity teams were unable to score a goal for 25 minutes, when MJ scored the first goal, throwing down the gauntlet. The Wildcats were unable to respond for the remainder of the half.
Ten minutes into the second half, the Bears scored again, putting the score at 2-0. Twenty minutes elapsed, and the Bears struck once more, leading with a 3-0 score.
The Wildcats couldnt respond with a goal of their own, leaving the final score a 3-0 victory for the Bears, giving them a 4-9-2 record, and three games left in the season.
