It’s here, and it is hitting stronger than ever. The outbreak is showing no signs of stopping, and it is hitting all of the seniors. They won’t get up from their beds; they are showing signs of apathy; they aren’t showing up to their classes. The seniors have a certain disease that no one is safe from. The disease called SENIORITIS. Dun duhhh dunnnn.
Senioritis: the crippling disease that causes many seniors to change their outlook on school. It is here and it is affecting everyone differently, and many people feel too lazy to do anything about it. It runs rampant throughout the senior class and can debilitate even the strongest of seniors. We surveyed seniors to find out how many of them are feeling.
“Like a truck ran me over and came back to finish the job.”
“On a scale of 1-10, like a nine, not a 10 because I stopped sleeping in class.”
“So hard that I am too lazy to come up with anything else to write here.”
Now what can we do to combat the massive outbreak? We surveyed seniors to see how some of them are dealing with this dangerous disease.
“I drink coffee every morning to wake myself up and force myself to go to school.”
“I continuously look at all the things I can do in college”
“Be involved in a lot of things, so I can’t think about it.”
The main take away point from this is that you shouldn’t let senioritis kick your butt. Keep on moving. There are many things to look forward to after high school, so don’t give up when you are almost done. Enjoy your last few months as a senior. You only get to do it once, and before you know it, it will all be a distant memory. Senioritis may knock you down, but don't let it keep you down!
