Stan Lee, a comic book writer who created some of the most loved Marvel characters, has passed away at the age of 95 from pneumonia. Fans across the globe are devastated. He is the reason that some of the most popular Marvel characters, such as Iron Man and Spider-Man, exist.
Nobody will forget how Stan Lee has impacted the world of entertainment, especially the stars of the Marvel films, many of whom took social media as a way to thank him.
Chris Pratt said, “What a life, so well lived...I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created...thank you for everything.”
Not only were the Marvel stars sad about Lee’s death. Marvel fans were devastated as well. Some MJHS students who were avid Marvel fans were greatly impacted by Lee and were heartbroken by his death.
An MJHS student said, “Stan Lee made a difference in the world, and very few do that. He created a universe that gave people of all ages hope, excitement and peace for even 2 hours. He will always be one of the people we look back on and see how amazing his creative mind truly was.”
People across the globe were touched by Lee and his work. He created characters, such as, Iron Man, Spider-Man, The Hulk and Black Widow. All of the people that loved Lee want to see Marvel honor him.
Another student said, “He was a legend, and I love all the Marvel movies, so it’s sad to see the face of a company go. I hope that the next Avengers movie, and any Marvel movies before it, honor him, because he deserves it.”
Stan Lee was a special addition to Marvel. Fans always looked for him in major Marvel films, which he did cameos in. Now nobody has a “special scene” to look for with Stan in it.
One thing to look forward to though, is the fact that he will have a cameo in “Spider-Man: Far from Home” and the next Avengers movie thanks to prior filming.
