“‘Til death do us part,” or not. Love can be the best thing that ever happens to you, or it can be the worst part of your life. Many people see love a different way than I do because when it comes down to it, I need and don’t need love.
What people call “love” is actually just a chemical reaction that compels animals to breed, including humans. The chemical reaction can be stronger or weaker based on the conditions the person is in. Some people can’t live without being loved, and although love may seem like the most important thing to them, all they really need is themselves. Some people need to be loved because they either grew up without it, or no one currently shows them love.
In my mind, there are two types of love: deep love and standard love. Deep love is where the two individuals make each other better people in a lot of ways, whether it be helping them out with their personal problems or just helping them with homework. I think it is most common with people who have everyday struggles their hearts become empty and their feelings absent, so they need someone in their life who can help them. When the other person steps in, the two individuals become close and start repairing each other. They eventually fix each other's hearts and spend their whole life together.
Standard love is where the two just like each other, so they start talking more. They eventually start dating because they “love” each others’ looks, attitude and personality. They don’t have a specific reason that drives them towards wanting love, they just want to love someone.
Love can also be poison. There can be moments in your life where you had a good relationship going, but it ended for the best. After a while, you try to find another relationship, but all of them end up being horrible as well. Since all the relationships after that perfect one did not match up, you just give up on love. Another circumstance is where you keep getting used in your relationships, so you decide to never love again.
I suggest that if you are looking for a relationship, find someone who has the same values as you.
