Many people already know about the new Bear News Network teacher- Mr. Peach. Students and teachers alike are eager to see what this school year will bring from BNN.
This year, Mr. Peach will be leading BNN into another successful school year. He took over after Ms. Nick left. So far, everyone’s favorite segment, Word Of the Day, has been a hit. Word Of the Day is a segment that changes daily, however, BNN has kept some of its more popular bits from last year.“That’s so Jesse” for example, is still being used in Word Of the Day.
BNN has always been important for Mount Juliet High School. It provides both goofy and fun school entertainment, and a mode for the classes to hear important news. For example, club meet-up dates and their room numbers, information about the yearbook, and things as such. With a new teacher plus a new look on how things may run, BNN is ready to take the school media by storm with pride!
Mr. Peach became the school’s BNN/media class’s new teacher this year. Mr. Peach gladly shared some opinions about his class.
In regard to BNN, Mr. Peach said, “I love it, and it can be crazy and scary at times.”
According to Peach, this year the class will not only be meeting tennessee education standards, but they’ll be striving to win awards for the media department.
In regard to the significance of student’s interests, Peach revealed BNN is very dedicated to peer review.
“It’s important for me to hear other’s opinions. If we’re not listening to the audience, we’re not making stuff for you, the audience.”
The students in fourth block BNN had things to say about the class too. Most of the students enjoy having Mr. Peach as a teacher. A few said he was an understanding and/or good teacher. When asked about what their favorite part of BNN was, people said they liked editing, writing scripts, or being on camera.
Through their content thus far, the students have demonstrated that Peach is a good fit for the class. For more information regarding BNN, visit their website here.
